A long time ago, without any thinking, I drew some pictures.
One picture = one inhale, one exhale, one old mascara wand on a 3” x 3” card, ~30 sec.









Leaf, flower, tree, forest, fall, wave.
Earth as substrate; fire, water, air moving through.



Then things picked up speed, and then some more. I simply spun the card around for the first two.
The elements vanished.
Both the breath and the wand finally stilled into a circle, the ensō.
